This is our Scentsy story;
Sometime during early 2008, I (Jennifer) had quickly seen a catalog at work for a product heated by a light bulb. I was intrigued but did not have time to look at it further. I promptly forgot about it.
That July, I was at an outdoor festival and smelled a wonderful smell from a booth about 5 booths away! As I got closer, I told my friend that this must be the product (Scentsy) I had seen a catalog for earlier. Well, I bought my first warmer and a few scents that day and also got some information about becoming a consultant. Now, keep in mind, that I am a full time teacher so I really wasn't sure what I why I was thinking about selling Scentsy! I took it right home, plugged it in and was AMAZED by how good it made my house smell! I WAS HOOKED! I spent the week discussing the opportunity with my husband and my parents (who signed up as consultants under me a few weeks later!) and on August 4, 2008, I was an official Independent Scentsy Consultant!
Now, I was on fire! I had to tell everyone about Scentsy; it's amazing choices of scent, it's simplicity, it's safety and it's low costs! My husband, Ken, was laid off from his position about 2 weeks after I started Scentsy, so we had a new focus! I spent the next years building a strong customer and hostess base and working on providing great customer care while running my business with integrity and honesty. I recruited and trained many fantastic team members along the way!
Now, it is 2025 and we have been with Scentsy for over 15 years! A few years ago, my husband, Ken, joined me in working with the business! We call our team “Metamorphosis” to celebrate the changes that Scentsy brings from within! I am still a full time teacher and love my job but I am equally dedicated to my Scentsy business!
As an Independent Scentsy Consultant, I have been able to;
